About 40 minutes from Utica · 25 minutes from Rome · 55 minutes from Herkimer (NY-49 west along the lake, or I-90 to Verona then NY-13 north)

Parking

Paid village-wide May 15–Sept 30, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. — most lots $2/hr or $10–12/day; Main St meters have a 2-hour max. Non-resident season permits are $30.

Reservations

Nothing requires booking; big summer weekends just require patience.

Cost

Beach is free. 2026 ride bands: $36.95 unlimited, $25.95 Kiddieland, per the park's official tickets page.

Weather

The park advertises itself rain or shine, and Eddie's (since 1934) and Canal View Cafe cover a wet lunch — but this is fundamentally a fair-weather trip.
