Four downtown projects split Waterville's NY Forward funding
Waterville's NY Forward program has funded four downtown projects, the village announced July 9. The largest awards go to a renovation and expansion of Mulligan's, with new upper-floor apartments ($1.84 million), and to rehabbing the historic Buell Block on W. Main Street ($1.80 million). Another $388,000 will convert the former Presbyterian church into a public event venue, and a $477,000 fund will help other local business owners. Together they draw on the village's $4.5 million state grant.
