Family-run course on Route 233, a mile and a half south of the Thruway. Open daily 10 a.m.–9 p.m., weather permitting — its own page warns hours can move by the day.
Eighteen holes with waterfalls on Maynard Drive, open since 1987 and renovated again in spring 2026. July hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, weather permitting; birthday parties and groups bookable.
A self-serve standalone range near Hamilton College — 350-plus yards, tee mats and natural grass, open daily 9 a.m. to dark. Prices and the street address aren't posted; call ahead.
An 18-hole course on 245 acres, established 1955, open to public play alongside memberships, with a 300-plus-yard practice range and a cart fleet. Its site lists 7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily; 2026 fees aren't posted yet.
The former Mohawk Valley Country Club, bought by Arc Herkimer in spring 2020 and run as an 18-hole course open to the public, with the Tin Cup Tavern & Grille on site. Fees aren't posted on its page.
The Robert Trent Jones course on the Colgate campus — designed 1934, built 1958 — open to public play with online tee times, a practice range and a restaurant. Fees aren't posted on its own page.
Utica's city course in Roscoe Conkling Park, near the Parkway and Valley View Rd — another Robert Trent Jones design, a quarter mile from the Val Bialas centre. The city page confirms the course but publishes no fees or hours.
The city-run nine-hole on East Monroe Street. It posts on Facebook rather than a website; hours and fees aren't published, so call. Careful researching it: littlefallsgolf.com is a different Little Falls, in Minnesota.
Go-karts, laser tag, bumper boats, batting cages and an arcade with pool, pinball and foosball, running since 1977. Open May through October. Go-kart drivers must be 16; riders at least 36 inches.
